Post I went to the track tonight....

Well I finally went to the track in my LT1. It was a warm night, started out about 90 deg. then cooled off to about 80. Not real humid and a slight crosswind. Well my car is 100% stock except for a Bullet muffler in the I pipe (Dynomouth). It could really use a tuneup and a new air filter (CAI will come soon though).

My Best

RT .757
60 2.18
1/8 9.276
MPH 76.37

Are these good times? All I really want from this car is and 8 second pass in full street trim. No weight removal, power adders, or drag radials (yet). Would I be there with a CAI and a cutout? Or would I need something like SFC's? Keep in mind this is a 17 yr. old kid who works at Eckerd! Any help is appreciated.
Thanks a lot,

Chris

That's normal. You may be able to cut a 9.0 with a cai.
