Unhappy IAC problems...again

well I finally got my 383 heads and cam (BBK 52mm TB) all dyno tuned and all, but it is still doing what it was doing prior to the tune. Upon cold start up, the IAC max's out to 160, and if any throttle is given the throttle is extremely choppy, you cant even move the car. Once the car warms up, and the IAC counts go down, the throttle becomes smooth, and runs fine. I already drilled a hole in the bellow after the maf, and ran a vacuum hose from the fitting on the elbow to the manifold, to get air in, around the IAC. I am still getting maxed IAC counts upon idle. If I mess with the throttle blade screw, it lowers the IAC counts at idle, but results with a high idle when warm. Also I dont want to start getting split blm's upon tampering with the throttle screw. The car has a 975rpm desired idle programmed into it.. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Re: IAC problems...again

Have you checked the coolant temp sensor? Working correctly? That would affect the cold start idle quite a bit if it wasn't.

Re: IAC problems...again

which one should I check for, the gauge? computer? I just replaced the one on the side of the driver head today, and the one on the water pump was changed about 6 months ago...
