identifying trick flow lt1 heads

i just bought a set of trick flow heads off a guy, new in box, but second hand heads...they look like lt1 heads, have center bolt valve covers holes, and angled spark plug holes, yet all the paperwork with the heads was for the 23 degree kenny dutweiler (sp??) heads...but nowhere on the heads does it say his name like its supposed to...im just making sure these are acutally lt1 heads...does trick flow make center bolt valve cover heads for non lt1 engines?

Re: identifying trick flow lt1 heads

Trick flow does make heads for non lt1 small block chevys. They are the Kenny Duttweiler series and the r-series heads for small block chevy. They also make an 18 degree head.I would say to look at the intake ports on the heads. You should only have 4 opening for air)The lt1 heads have no coolant passages exposed that would flow thru the intake like traditional SBC

Re: identifying trick flow lt1 heads

Trickflow lt1 heads look very much like gm lt1 heads. The difference I can see is that the pushrod area is open on a gm head and on a trickflow head they just drill a hole for the pushrod. Also the oil return holes are cast on the gm head and they are drilled on the Trickflow head. Hope this helps.
