I'm giving myself a budget of 10K for mods... what can I do?

1994 Formula, in the process of building it up. It currently has no powertrain, as I removed it last fall. I have an LT1 block bored .060 over and converted to splayed 4 bolt mains as a base, and a forged crank. Other than that I have no internal engine parts. I have 2 sets of LT1 heads, the early ones and the later style ones, and 2 LT1 intakes. The car was an A4, I want to make it an M6. Suspensionwise I have BMR LCA's, PHR, SFC's, TA, and sway bars. I also have a 3.73 rear. I will buy a tubular front K member for it, along with tubular front control arms.

Starting now, what would you guys do given a $10,000 budget? Remember, I need to convert to an MN6, and buy the BMR K member and control arms. I want to retain the AC, and I want this thing to be driveable. An STS turbo system would be nice, but not if it means sacrificing in other areas. I want to build the motor with the STS in mind (turbo friendly cam, and 9-9.5:1 comp with forged pistons) So have at it!

start with a new block, I believe .040 over is the max most people will use. internals can vary greatly in price, but if you plan on staying under around 75-800 hp eagle K-cut h-beam rods and some SRP pistons would probably serve your needs. Keep in mind that the assembly will have to be balanced as well.
$10K goes quick, trust me, I started off with a $6K budget and it turned into $13K, and that is naturally aspirated. you're also going to need a clutch, probably a driveshaft. Send the heads/intake to lloyd or another porter and let them have at it. they should be able to handle your cam needs as well.

Ya will need a 12 bolt if ya gonna hook it.
Ya will need to have that .060 over block sonic checked. It may be OK for N/A but not for boost. .040 is the max recommended overbore.
Buy the best set of heads ya can afford($2500-3000) for a good set then build the engine around them.
If ya going to do boost them on paper build everything for boost.
IMO ya should build it for what it is NOW. Most of the time the add ons don't make it to the engine, as your interests will change and on a good running 12.5 static compression 383 engine making 475-500RWHP ya can always add N2O

LS1/6 or LS2 conversion with a 12 bolt.
In my opinion it will be the best thing to do.
no more opti and harnesses and k-frames are readily available and cheap.
One major plus is this is a very expandable platform with more parts comming available everyday!
Check it out you will be surprised.
