I'm tired of this ****!~!!@$#%
Push in clutch Turn key and nothing! I already replaced the Ignition switch so it's not that. Just what in the hell can it be? I'M so sick of this crap I don't know what to do. This is ******* rediculious! How unreliable can a car be! My modded Civic may have been 99.9% slower but atleast she never let me down NEVER!!!! I'm so annoyed with this crap... every time I turn around it's something new that's broken... and it's all GM crap. Now what the heck is going on. When I push the clutch in and turn the Key the car wont start... just like before. What can it be now!!! If I didn't have to turn around and fix some junk GM crap everytiem I sat in the car... I'd have my 11sec all motor engine already! This is rediculous!

...take er easy heat i think i have your fix....
on the under side of the steering column is the nuetral safty switch.
its connected to a rod that runs up to the key(ignition)...if the switch is
"****** or any of the wires are off she wont start....goood luck.

Heatmaker: Are you getting power to the gauges?? When you key the ignition on (not trying to start) do any of the gauges come on?? If yes, then I'd check the clutch safety switch first and foremost. If you don't get any gauges, or only get the battery light, I'd look at the VATS module as someone on the speed density board recently had that go out and it caused a no start/no gauge power condition.

THanks...
Uh... lets here... When I turn the key my guages come on... The brake and low trac lights go out but my SES light and Check guages light stay on... like they always do when I start the car right before the engine comes on. I went out and brought the Black switch that the Clutch pushes into. "Safety Start" switch or somehting like that... I brought a new one and put that on... same issue... and I don't know what to do. Anyhow how do I bypass the clutch Safety switch?

Is there a picture of this?
This haynes manual is crap (I can say crap?)
I swear I'm a step a way from pushing this car onto the train tracks and telling the insurance agency it was an accident.

Plus the advice was so way off/incorrect as to not be of any use and only to add confusion. Now, there is a highly frustrated person looking on the column for a neutral safety switch that does not exist. If there was something other than the ignition switch on the end of the rod from the key cylinder, you would have seen it when you replaced the ignition switch.
