Re: Info needed on exhaust and Y pipe, Please Help
Do you have headers? If not it should bolt right up with the stock y-pipe. If you have headers, then you will need the corresponding y-pipe. Whether or not you have long tube headers will determine if you need O2 extenders.

They are each going to have there own y-pipes. If you get shorty headers there will be a small selection of pipes that go with those, and vise versa. If you want to keep from buying 2 different y=pipes when you decide whic headers you want, I would go with an SLP y-pipe that will work with stock manifolds and shorty headers.
You won't get the power out of shorties like you would long-tubes, but if you are looking to buy one y-pipe, you will have to go with shorties. Any of these places will have y-pipes that you can choose from.

Good luck, I hope I helped and wasn't rambling.

I have the loud mouth cat back, I want to go with long tubes, but am afraid they will make it hard to change spark plugs, also I am told they are a pain to install.
