This rocks!!
I finally got a chance to do my FP this weekend. RSM and my bro helped. This was my 1st time doing a pump, let alone doing it like this. I got the harness too but didnt install it yet, I wanted to see that it worked, and it wasnt critical at this point...
This is the diagram I used to make my marks and cut, but one this I might add. In the upper left hand corner, on the left side of the corner. Go about 3-4 inches to the left and then down about 2 inches and that should be cut as well. So that you have far better access to the lines.
We got the assembly out, we took the bucket off, cracked her open and took the old pump out, we needed the fitting off of the line so we got it, but its was a B I T C H getting it on the new pump, but we did. We modified the bucket so the pump sat in nicely. We glued the bucket back up, but we had to wait for it to set, that was overnight.
This morning we finished up, re assembled it and out her back in. I cycled the key x2 to prime the pump and started her up after 1 crank. The car felt awesome. It was dead on. Not once did the car break up, she shifted nicely and I was very impressed!!
So i just got done reconnecting my ignition box, and re adjusting the tps sensor back to where it was. The throttle response came back as well.
Over all I was impressed and Im going to the track wednesday night. Wish me luck!!
Oh and before I forget I wish to thank Racetronix for sending the PDF install files for the harness and pump and for the gentleman above who made a great "from the top" install guide.
