cool, thanks shoe box, ill pull it off and double check but i had the line at 12 o clock, but it was lined up to the keyaway, so i'll have to remove it and do it the right way, but if the timing chain cover is on already how do i line it up with the dot ? **** =/

Look inside your hub. You should see a "shadow line" coinciding where the empty keyway is on the crank snout. Extend this line to the outside of the hub with a marker. Then you will have a visual reference to get it reasonably lined up.

That is what I had done too... However I have a question... If that hub is just slightly off the mark when re-installed, would that cause a bit of a out of balance vibration at certain RPM's? Just wondering cause eversince I removed the hub I have a small but annoying vibrations coming from the motor...

The book says, only if the pulley had any weights in the holes, that you should have to worry about balance issues. Most don't have any weights.

well i got mine on finally :P , i just found it odd how you see some of the silver still rather than the hub going completely flush , or real close to it. but i guess it only can go so far :P.
