installing intake but...

installing intake but...

Hey guys...

How on earth do you install the intake manifold without any dowel pins or guides? I keep thinking im going to mess up the alignment and have to do the RTV all over gain...

Put a couple rods on the bolt holes on one side to guide the intake down straight. I've heard of people using pencils. High end approach would be a couple long studs with the correct threads.

or just cut the heads off a couple extra bolts, round the ends off, and use them for guides (only do one side!). I actually found some studs with hex hoes in the centers for removal, but you could also make a slot for a flat blade screwdriver.
