Installing motor from the top??

Did anyone leave the condenser in while pulling the engine out of the top? I about to do this and didn't want to bleed my ac system. Also, Can I just unbolt my transmission and leave it in the car while I pull the engine? It's an auto.

You could probably work something to keep the trans in the car, but it can't be supported just by the crossmember, something needs to support it in the front like a jack or jackstand with a board or something.
