Intake makes a BOV sound?!?

Well my car has been running fine for a while now

and i have tried searching for this but haven't found anything on it, from what i read about intake backfires, mine doesn't sound like it has problem

when i first just put a cone filter on sometimes at a WOT shirt it would screech, (sounding like i had a BOV)

then I put on my CAI and it stopped, after that i got my LM installed in december and it didn't do it then either

I haven't been driving the car that often but lately when im driving after every WOT throttle shift it will screech and either take air in or blow it out, but the car continues to pull very hard like is should, not hesitation or loss or power

my car is running fine otherwords, nothing out of the unusual i have noticed

this doesn't bother me a bit, (actually i kind of like it ) im just wondering if anything is wrong with my car or there is anything i should be worried about

Re: Intake makes a BOV sound?!?

Is it possible that you're hearing belt slippage???

When you shift, there's a sudden change in rpm's... and that could result in the serpentine belt slipping. That would make a screeching noise.

Check and see if the belt has the proper tension on it, and that it's in good shape.
