It's finally done!! PICS
...well, almost. I still need to get the Spohn TA to make room for the dual cats and then a drive to Mufflex for a stainless y-pipe to connect to the Borla exhaust. Once I get the y-pipe made I will be ceramic coating it. I did the following over the past three months, mostly nights and weekends-
XE 218/224 113
Lloyd Elliot heads
CM valve springs
CM double roller timing chain and gears
Jet Hot long tubes
Impala head gaskets
"beefed up" alternator
Deka spiral cell battery
MSD Blaster coil
ProMag 1.6 RRs
new A/C condenser, dryer and lines
CSI water pump
vented opti and 95 timing cover
Taylor OVC wires
NGK TR55 plugs
3 wire heated 02 sensors
updated PCMforless chip
a few pounds of powder coating
I think that's all, most of it anyway...
The only real problems I've had were a broken thermo neck bolt, broken timing cover bolt, timing chain rubbing the inside of the cover, the electrical bug that was blamed on the bad alternator ground and a throttle body that seems to be sticking just a little bit. I have been driving it for a couple of days now and it's a BLAST. The open headers are way too loud for my taste and I've been lucky in that I haven't passed a cop yet and my ride to work is very short. As soon as I get the $$ together I will be finishing the exhaust. Thanks to all of those who have helped w/ my many questions and problems before and after the install. Special thanks again to BWHunter for the extra help!
Here are the new pictures. Let me know what you think of the powder coating color selections.

Looks good man. Since I have like 6 months before my car is running again ive been painting everything, removing unneccessaries, cleaning, and i keep picturing how nice it will look until i see i picture with all those dam wires, i hate fuel injection(actually i dont, just the wires.) good work though man, looks sweet.

donot_4get - I work at a powder coating shop and all that it cost me was my time after work. It is the stock LT1 intake just coated to match the car. It's a different red that is used on the LT4 intakes so side by side there is a color difference.
Thanks to all for the compliments.
