Looks good man. The y-pipe is a little weird, but should be ok.
I'm in the middle of doing this myself... just curious, how did you get the driver side header in? I've tried through the bottom and top (definetely can't be done) and can't get it to slide in.
That is with the oil filter off, steering linkage off and no front tube on the header....
Thanks!

Thanks! My engine was jacked up about 2-3 inches for that sucker to go in........yea the y pipe was a little weird to look at but when you're under the car it really makes sense what the guy at the shop did i have WAY more ground clearance than if i had done it how we disgussed it in the beginning.

That's what I was afraid to hear. Son of a....
I just installed new mounts and could've easily slided it in while it was jacked up when I was replacing the driver side one.
Anyway, I guess I'll have to loosen it up and do it that way. Do you know if they installed the driver side through the top or bottom after the engine was jacked up?

Madwolf, save yourself time trouble. Get a jack with a peice of wood (BIG BLOCK) and put it under the center of the K member. Take out the 6 bolts that hold the K member up and drop the K member down 2 inches. This seemed like the ONLY way to get my driver side in. Its weird, my buddies 96 ws6, it just slipped in. What we were thinking was the body of the car on the dual cat cars is alittle bigger in there to support the cats. Try that.

Damn, I didn't even think of that. Duh!
I had to do this when I pulled the trans not too long ago.
Thanks Nick. I'll give that a try. I'd really rather do that then loosen up that motor mount.

Huh, mine went right in with just the steering linkage removed. But, this was on a lift and we did angle them quite a bit. Now the pass side....

My passenger side took about 20 minutes to get in. I was doing it all by myself too.
Probably has a lot to do with the way the engine is aligned.

Yeah, we fiddled and farted for quite awhile, then finally gave up and jacked the motor, and viola!

Ion, can you email me a tune sheet so I can do a list for you and get a tune? (Sorry for the offtopic).
