Smile just got back from the track, some times inside

well, I just got back from LACR, racing my car for the first time. I was running on stockers. 245/50/16 Kumho 711's.Mods in the sig, Interior in tact, spare and jack in back, my passenger weighing in around 145lbs or so. My 60 foot times were in the 2.4 area.(drag radials needed badly) I was running consistent 14.7X/14.8X(elevation is over 2500 feet) I used the equation from the tracks site to correct it for sea level which takes the times to 14.3X-14.5X's. My best run a 14.66 @95.65 which corrects to 14.22 @ 98.52. My trap speeds were in the 96-98 range(corrected time).

EDIT: i also let my friend(145 lb passenger) run my car alone. He managed 14.48(14.0) @ 96.23(99.1) with a 2.3 60tf. I think its time for a diet as well

I'm hoping the times dont look too bad . What do ya think for a virgin racer?

get a set of DR and lower you 60" and you be in the high 13's
those times sound about right for a relativelys stock car.

I agree.....especially at that elevation. My 97 pulled a 14.1 bone stock, 3 months old at sealevel.
