Could be a couple things probably nothing major just check the spark plug and the plug wire are in good shape. Is it just #1 misfiring?

I presume it's a '96 or newer, if you got a code P0301. If that's the code check for a bad plug or plug wire in cylinder #1.

First, we need the info on the car. Generally a good idea to include a "Signature" in your posts - year, model, engine, trans and any major mods. Not all years of the LT1's are the same. Go to "User CP" on the red task bar at the top of every page, left click and go to "edit signature".

How did you determine that #1 (and only #1?) is misfiring? What have you done to try and diagnose it? Have you checked the spark plug, plug wire, and injector?

Could be as simple as a faulty spark plug or loose wire..... could be as serious as a bent valve, hole in the piston, blown head gasket.

Need a lot more info.

ok sorry i justupdated my sig/from the prev owner he had it checked and it pulled up codes P0301 and P0300. I also when i start to accelerate and drive it makes a loud humming noise kinda like the sound of a lifted truck with big tires if that makes any sense lol. Also when after i start it, the car makes a loud screeching sound, like when the car is running and you try to turn it over except louder.

Fix the problem before you continue to drive it.

Repair the missfire before you drive it anymore. Souping a cylinder can create damaged cylinder, piston or rings.

TPS is more likely the issue. The O2s while they should be changed regularly, are not likely the cause of any hesitation. The rear O2s of the 4 you have are only used to check on the health of the cats. Nothing at all to do with engine control.

Do you have the hesitation right from start up or only after it's warm? I ask this since the O2s aren't even used till the engine warms up and goes into closed loop.

How does the appearance of plug #1 compare to the appearance of the other 7?

I have not checked the other 7 plugs yet i just changed this one since it was throwing a code. I will change all of them as soon as i get my jack back from my friend. Also it is from start up only cuz i dont want my engine to run too long with it acting like this. The tps sensor is right below the TB right. Anyway i can check to see if this is it>?
