just got car problems...

ok so is there do anyone here think that i have a fuel injector problem with this or do you think its ignition, cause if the spark plug wires dont fix it the only thing that i can think of to change is the optispark. If i do that could i just get the cap and rotor kit cause it seems like most people here get a whole new distributor and thats 500 for a good one.

Your going around in circles
Just FYI all your plugs look like it's running rich. But at this point you don't know if it's purely from too much fuel or too little spark.
Get the code and focus on that first. Once you have the code repaired, then focus on what ever problem still remains that does not have a code for it. But always take care of codes first. You never know what effect the code has on other things. Stick to the plan Stan.

OK well i changed all of my plugs, wires, clean MAF which was nasty, changed pcv valve that was all gunked up,oil/filter+lucas oil stabil and fuel filter. Gosh this car was not maintained very well. But ran the scanner and believe it or not i have the TPS code lmao. I replaced that then when i went to AZ took it back cause i didnt think that was the problem. Now i need to buy it again!!!! arhg

If you claim it wasn't well maintained, you should look inside the cap
same question
Don't make the same mistake twice. Do this before you buy the part again.

The TPS sensor is on the passenger side of the throttle body:

Key on, engine off, you should have 5V between the black and the gray wires in the harness. With the throttle closed, measuring between the blue and black wires should show 0.20-0.90V, with stock TB's usually about 0.65V. Open the throttle slowly. The voltage should climb smoothly (no spikes or dropouts) until at WOT it reads about 4V higher than the closed throttle voltage.

Man it sounds like you're havin a hell of a time with this car.. Keep in mind when you're trying to troubleshoot a mystery issue it's always a good idea to start doing the simple/cheap stuff first and work from there..
For example I had a customer with a #3 miss on his 90ish Nissan pickup, he replaced his spark plugs, then coil, fuel filter, cap/rotor, wires, air filter, and as he was debating replacing his distributor, I asked did he try any fuel injector cleaner, maybe it's a clogged injector..
Anyways the point of my rant is, a $4.99 bottle of Lucas injector cleaner later.. problem solved..
My money is on the O2's, when those go bad, or they're on their way out it can make your car run like total crap, which would explain those plugs. Also you can rent a OBD tester from Vatozone for $99 which you get back when you return it..

Any chance for a video on this engine running and being raised through the RPM ranges? If so... it would be best to create your own free account at www.photobucket.com then upload all the images you have already taken (plugs and whatnot) and post your latest videos there as well and then if you like, you could drop a link in here so we can see and hear what that motor is doing. Seeing as how your car might have a lot of things that will need thrashing out... this might get your forum friends here up to quickly identify the specific help you need sorted when solving so many mechanical problems...
Yes?
(Plus save on forum storage, too, since you won't be taking up any space and bandwidth... :>))

ok so i put some fresh gas in this car and after i changed the spark plugs the idle seems very good, does have a weird smell coming from the engine compartment which leads me to think its a leak which sucks. As far as the hesistation i believe its my o2 sensors since it popped a code for one of them which i cant remember what it is. The previous owner said somehting about it being bank 2 something 2. Should i just replace all 4 at the same time or will i be fine just doing one for now since im Poor

well i erased all of the codes and started fresh. Put new TPS and it still sais same thing low output. When i look at the rest of the stuff on the scanner where it sais catalyst,o2 sensor and stuff it sais INC where everything else sais OK. Heres a video after i put new TPS in.
