Not gonna lie, they could be a lot better.....what cam do you have because that determines what lift it's up to? On my heads what they flow at .600 doesn't matter because my cam isn't good up to that lift.

from what ive read on this board..........flow numbers above lift are still important...

for example

.......heads A........heads B

400...250..............250
450...255..............255
500...260..............260
550...265..............263
600...270..............265
650...275..............268

cam lift is 550

even though they both flow the same the same in the lift range.........head A's flow keeps increasing, where head B is becoming inefficient.

head A car will be faster.

someone correct me if im wrong

A local guy here ported them.

I currently have a Hotcam and stock heads but sent in my buddy's spare set of heads/intake in to get them ported. Now that I have flow #'s I'm going to look at a custom setup.

250's is about what MOST people get - "most" including the guys claiming 270+ peak.

Either way, there's alot more to it than flow numbers.. how else do we make over 400rw SAE through full exh on an old stock shortblock with 250cfm and other people claim close to 280 & are 40hp down? LOL

Don't sweat it.. they look fine to me, just as good as most any $1k set you'll buy wherever.

Phil is da man when it comes to this stuff but it looks pretty decent to me/ That is provided you didn't pay an arm and a leg for it.

No, they dont peak as high as Lloyd's or AI's stuff but the low lift numbers look good which is also very important.

Not bad. I would suspect a port volume of say, 185 ccs. Just a guess on my part but one thing I would like to see is about 10 more cfm at each .100 of lift from .200-.500.

Either way, this head should be plenty capable of supporting 400rwhp or more if that is your goal. Keep the cam timing short though.

Take care

They're pretty similar to what a set of GTP stage 2's flow. You probably paid a lot less for yours tho They're decent

Not really. Do a search for head flow stuff written by Mr. Horsepower in advanced tech, you will learn alot.

That's a average job on heads as far as I have seen and I've seen GTP's do that curve.

I do agree with Mr. Horsepower though, 5-10cfm with around a 185cc intake volume would be nicer to see.

Flow numbers are not everything. Velocity matters to as well as A LOT of other factors.
