Just, installed 4.10's, Madz28 tune & MSD Coil
Well just got back from my mechanic and i have to say the car is much different from before. The 4.10's have woken up the car, the tune has helped a bit on the top end didnt notice a huge difference maybe because the tune is for Lt's/No cats so maybe if i install those i will get the gain im looking for in the top end, so far the Lt's are sitting in my room installing it next week. Need another 250 for labor, i wanna change out the plugs to colder plugs and go to MSD wires as well while there changing the headers because nitrous will be goin on soon.
Either way ive always done 4.10's on all four of my camaro's and everytime i do it, it puts a big smile on my face. Im gonna install my exhuast cutout and remove the cat on monday since its gonna cost me 40 bucks to do it ill do that and save up the funds for the install on the Lt's for next week, kinda want to do it all at once would make sense but cant wait. Either way i know im dragging this out but im really happy.

Ya i was told when i had my bmw M3 a little while ago that my car will not run right with a tune for headers no cats and i had stock headers with a cat. Ofcourse a week later i installed the aftermarket headers and cats were gone. Just using that as an example im sure ill be ok once i install my LT's on my camaro, i talked to Ion at madz28 and he said if you didnt notice a big difference you should check your fuel pressure and it should be at 43.5 idle with vaccum hose off but not sure how to check that on my 94, it was much easier doing that on my 93Z. So once i figure out were to put the fuel pressure gauge to check for fuel pressure ill do that first thing. The car runs fine no issues at all and 1st, 2nd gear pull hard after my 4.10 gear install but it just doesnt accelerate like my 93z did but then again my 93Z had 3 more mods then my 94 which were the exhuast cut out, shorty headers and no cat. I think once i install the Lt's on my 94, no cats and exhuast cut out i should be ok, i hope.

How much did it cost to do 4.10's? I'm beginning to think that might be a good mod for my car. It seems everyone loves it, even on daily drivers.

I did my coil and 4.10's for 260.00 labor. The reason why i say coil is because he had to tap out the bolts that were holding it in place so it took him a little time to do that and charged me 40 which is included in the 260.00, i use to have my 4.10's installed for 180.00 but that was 3 years ago. Definitly well worth mod and i would recommend it to anyone thats not goin to crazy on the modifications mainly because traction would be a major issue.

I bought the rear end from ebay, ring and pinion with the bearings slightly used. Got them for 85.00 +15.00 shipped when they arrived they were in very good condition. I was lucky it came with the bearing because mine were really bad and my diff. was making alot of noise. If you look hard enough you can find them for cheap.
