Just sold my Eclipse GS-T

Hey guys, just sold the turbo to buy into some v8 power. I am buying a 96' black Firebird M6 with only 38k on it for $10k. The thing is in perfect condition. I'm really excited to start scaring away to local rice instead of attracting them. I will be on here (the boards) alot I'm sure getting info on the bird. Thanks. Noah

The great part about this is, I sold the GS-T for $12K. So after taxes, I will have like a little over $1k to spend on the LT1. I was thinking, CAI, exhaust (catback) and nitrous (TNT maybe, 75-100 shot). What do you guys think?

definitely exhaust and intake. Headers help out a lot too, those stock manifolds bite.

If you do nitrous, be sure to do all the SAFETY equipment so you don't grenade a perfectly good 38k LT1.... if you want power all the time, you might be better served by putting a cam and roller-rockers in that motor...

Thank you much. Ya, I would do intake/cutout or exhaust before I shot n2o. I would start with 75 HP and go up when I bough headers. Thanks guys. Noah

I had a 92 model myself. Changing the timing belts was a PITA. The little one was almost impossible and that was with the motor jacked up. The big one had something like 6 or 8 pairs of timing dots that had to be lined up also. That was the longest job I every spent on a car. I thought I would never get it back together. Turning the key for the first time was scary to say the least. I do miss the sparkplug access. What till you try to change the plugs on your new car.

Thumbs up right on....

sounds like me, i ditched my FWD import for some rear wheel drive american power a couple months ago. Sold my Prelude for $6000, bought my Z28 for $4500 and got a faster car in the process
