Angry K-Member Not Dropping Enough

I'm trying to remove my oil pan. I have the motor mounts off the brackets a couple of inches, the motor lifted at the bellhousing, and the 6 bolts holding the k member are loosened all the way.

I can't seem to get enough clearance though to remove the oil pan. The pan is ready to fall out, all bolts removed, sensor off.
But the k member is in the way. How do I get the kmember to drop some more??

Take the bolts out for the shocks and it will drop a lil more..I left all the kmember bolts in but I was only using 2-3 threads to hold it...Taking the shock bolts out allowed me to drop it another 2 inches or so..

It's really not as hard a job as everyone makes it seem like...Welding my slip-tube on my hooker LT's was ALOT harder than this

Gluck!
