knock retard at idle
I have the LT4 KM and whatever madz28 does in his tune. At idle it is pulling 2 degrees. Is that normal?
I took it to the GM dealership and paid to have them try and figure out my lack of idle. Found out that the car is electronically right, all the sensors were working fine except the TPS which at WOT was 83%. Ended up being slack in the line, so the only problem was fixed. And what do you know, car never died when I took it to him I drive this car and it dies at the first stop I do, lol.
He said to raise the idle ( which was 650ish ) and tighten a couple rockers ( which I did earlier ). He said if that dont fix it, to get it tuned!
Kinda rambled there, just trying to figure out what the problem is.

Any knock retard at idle is not normal. Generally only happens when the knock sensor circuit sets a trouble code. Or when you have the engine rattling in the motor mounts, exhuast components banging on the chassis, etc.

Sure... anything that causes a tapping sound in the engine MAY trigger the knock sensor. But you wouldn't fix loose RR's by tuning out the knock retard. You would adjust them correctly.
