le1 cam w/le2 heads
397 hp and 367 ft-lb stock bottom end le1cam with the le2 heads and all the bolt ons. Not to shabby. Still has potential.1/2 past zero lash, going to 1/4 http://community.webshots.com/user/blazzen18

comp bee hive sprigs, I dont know the spring rate. Its what ever comes with the le2 package. I think the valve float is on the count of me tightening the valve to 1/2 past zero lash. I am going to loosen them up in hopes of more torque earlier in the rpm range, and if that valve float goes away. I should see over 400 hp. It drops awefully fast at 5800 where it should still be climbing. Cant wait for the new numbers

Nice Numbers .......If after 1/4 turn lifter preload it still falls off on the top(mine sure was with 1/4 turn).....try going with absolute Zero lash, with just the normal twist to lock the polly lock......it's ends up being about 1/16th turn preload.......I've tried every increment starting from 3/4 turn preload all the way down to where Im at now........Theres NO question that how I have them set now gives the most power with no high RPM fall off.........The whole time since I did all my mods, I thought the valves were floating after 5800 because of the springs, cause it felt just like it.....but it was just the Hydrolic lifters pumping up at high RPM holding the valves off their seat when they should have been closing... with no lash to pump up this cant happen.........good luck with it......Joe

readjust the rockers to 1/8 (or even 1/16) past zero and then get the tune ironed out and you should be over 400 RWHP and gain some TQ also.
Pretty good for a low/mid 220 duration cam.
It should make peak HP at about 6200-6300 RPM and we are peaking way before that. It should slowly taper off after that RPM also instead of dropping like a rock like it is doing now.
I am sure the #'s will come up once the curve is straitened out. That is one hell of a dip in the middle there.
Post the new #'s after more tuning and rocker adjustment.

Really is quite good considering the obvious bugs to be worked out.

The first part I knew, the second part I didn't. It was how much lower that had me confused. Evidently they dumbed it down so even someone like me could get it.

those are the bee hive springs.
He mentioned the rockers are 1/2 past zero so we had discussed him to re adjust them to 1/16 to 1/8 past zero lash and get a base tune from PCMforless.com before going back for more tuning. The tuning done now was done with 3 pulls and very few adjustments. The dip in TQ curve shows that. It was from a buddy that did not charge him anyway so he did not come out too bad.
Once he gets a PCMforless tune as a base and lets the guy "tweak" that tune, he will be happy.
Hopefully 405 RWHP (peaking at 6200-6300 RPM) and 375 RWTQ with better shaped HP and TQ curves.
