LE1 Heads LT1 11.6's with a 6 speed. Video inside.

The very last run I had which I didn't get recorded, I should have hit 11.51. It is explained in the end of this video why I didn't get it. Do you guys think I can get mid 11.4x? Also I hit high 1.5s 60ft constantly, you think I can hit a low 1.5? I'll take any help.

This is I guess a neat video I made. The background music is from my brother's band. Anyhow let me know what you think. I know I need alot of work on my shifting. Here is the video. Oh yeah if you have a youtube you are more than welcome to leave any comment whether good or bad. Thanks again.

Nice, just keep practicing, maybe consider a different shifter (sorry in advance if your sig identified one) a short throw shifter is usually more percise that the factory "mixmaster" models.

And music was cool also.

Awesome video

I like how you slowed it down on the 3rd run.

Yeah for the longest when I bought the car used before I rebuilt the engine, I was telling everyone that it already had an aftermarket shifter. Well then I found out it is just the upgradable one from the factory. I am so confused about which one to get. I've heard of people saying some short throw shifter's you lose leverage. Any advice?

I have a hurst shifter, it has done me well. But there is one out with stopes so you dont bend shift forks on it too. I am trying to think of the name I want to say it is pro somthing or another. I have driven a few cars with it and think it is awesome too. Perhapes sombody else can remember the name for me.

You should be proud of what you have there. I was at the track two weeks ago talking to a WS6 ls1 guy. He had AFR heads, bolt-on's, 12 bolt rear, full suspension, and 125 shot and could only do 11.5. Nice job and congrats. Love the slow motion wheels up.

I leave at 6300rpms. I think I am going to try 16psi of tire pressure instead of 14psi. I think I can still get some grip with maybe just a slight slip of the tire that way I don't have that small bog right after the launch. Man I really think I can hit mid 11.4's. I will definantly give all you an update.

That is some GOOD driving ... I still dont know how to launch mine.

If I think of launching near redline there is NO way I couldnt just sit there and spin. I spin through the 60 launching at 2500 HAHAH. ---

I have a Pro 5.0 shifter in mine and I love it, nice car and great times, I have a new engine going together now with LE heads, ported intake and an 847 cam. I'm looking to run times similar to yours.
