There should only be two wires going tot he starter, a big and a little red one. There is also a small ground wire that goes to the side of the block in front of the starter. You mifght have hooke that up to it. Im not sure where the ground goes It has been a while since Ive did anything to my car.

man that sucks... that would make sense now that it was a ground i hooked up to it... there was not a place on the block because i took that factory crap off of it... time to go splice some wires!

LOL... well i found out what really burnt up! The ground wire was just glowing and burnt the coating off of it. What did the main damage was the starter! I believe part of the racket i heard was the starter still stuck engaged. It is broke all to crap on the inside! I shook it hear the loose parts inside rattle and peices fell out of it. The two hot wires that are supposed to go there are fine... the ground is melted all to crap. I should inspect the rest of the wires in the wire harness that touch the ground but im pretty lazy... so i dunno about that one. I would hate to fry something else. Off to autozone!

That ground goes to a smaller tapped hole in the block, even if you deletd a bunch of crap on the car it will still be there if you are using the stock block.
If you look just below where the lowest head bolts are you will see two holes that you can use, should be toward the middle of the block on a slightly raised section. Then again you also have to find the bolt that was there. I am guessing it is standard since everyother thread going into the block is a standard pitch. Best of luck to ya.

Hmm... I scanned it with datamaster and im gettin some pretty good knock count. 12 degrees of spark retard with only 11 advanced at some points. When i give it some gas the advance goes up and the retard drops to nothing... is this normal? It still should not be recording that much knock should it?

The one in the computer has the choice of being LT1/4.
You are showing that much knock at idle?
