LE2 Bulid pics and sound clip!!!

Well it took me exactly a week to complete my le2 heads, cam, miezere, 58mm, ported intake. I used the delphi 37lbs and got a tune from Speed Inc out of Schaumburg IL. I worked mostly alone and getting the headers back on took three days! Overall this was a good learning expierence and the power this set up produces is unreal (I had to let up at about 4500 rpm) lol! Anyway here is some random pics and a idle video clip!

Tear down

And the Idle Video one week later!

Hats off to Lloyd for doing a great job and keeping great communication.

Hope you scraped the rust off that lifter spider before buttoning back up.

Nice, and I hope it is all you wanted and worked for. Did what you did and it was a little more work than I remember back when I was younger. Thanks to a friend that had the know how and did most of the work it turned out well. Nice choice on the heads. PS live about 15 min. from Speed Inc.

Yeah it certainly is alot of work. I'm glad I went with the le heads, atleast when I get a better bottom end i'll be able to transfer the heads over.
I imagine your going to the speed open house?

Yeah, if I'm not working. They build some unbelieveable cars there. Some really nice cars show up, even if the weather is a little crappy.

How was it doing all that with the engine in the bay? I hear it's much more of a pain to do it while it's still in there.

It's a rebuilt supposed to be under 30k.
I think it wasn't too bad with the motor in the car. I've had worst situations. The hardest part was getting the headers bolted back up. You would think that it would be tough but the fans and radiator come out pretty easy and you can just swivel the ac condenser out of the way, so the cam comes straight out. As far as the heads and intake it wasn't too tough taking out or putting in, the only pain was torquing the heads down in the correct sequence with the headers in the way. Oh yeah and the crank hub was a pita! lol
