Re: LE2 Dyno & Track Numbers

i was also inspired by this. if i have a cat and all o2 sensors would this setup be able to pass emmisions? i was originally thinking about a hotcam and getting a valve job but not after learning about Lloyd's packages. i want to get an LE2 setup with a new TB, injectors and i plan on getting Mac midlengths very soon also. would that setup be able to pass emmisions with that cam and everything? im very inspired now. thanks you and awesome job

I'll be sticking with the stock LT1 castings until we put the big motor in my T/A. Later Clint

Lloyd has a emissions cam that's going to give you about the most power on a emissions legal setup... you can't twist it as high but emissions are still a big comprimise...

Re: LE2 Dyno & Track Numbers

so can if he can get me an emmisions cam with le2 heads, would evyerhting be ok. i dont know why it wouldnt but would it just be a slightly smaller cam? i want to acheive 11's. i also plan on using nitrous but i kinda wanna get into 11s before nitrous i want somethign very strong and powerfull that will pull but somethign that can still pass. he has a generic "emmisions cam" or he will make one for my application that will work real good but still be able to pass? would it be compared to a hotcam kinda? thanks alot. im still new to a lot of this stuff.

Re: LE2 Dyno & Track Numbers

69Z,

11's are still possible with emissions as long as we get the car set up right (stall, gear, traction and 60 ft). Give me a call (972-617-5671) or email (NightTrain66@msn.com) and we can go over your options.
