LE2 guys cam surge?
Do any of you guys running le2 heads and cam ever have a problem with cam surge at say light throttle, crusing at 1200rpm to 2000rpm? I just got this thing on the road and I cant really tell if it is a miss or just cam surge. And btw it pulls really hard and runs good at any real throttle.

Get a dyno tune, mail order tune wont cut it period.
It is running lean at those RPM's which causes most of the surge. The problem is if you run a closed loop tune, then its hard to get the PCM to add more gas within this range without affecting the rest of the RPM ranges. If you run a speed density tune then it can be tuned completely out. I encountered the same thing with my cam and I have two tunes to counter this problem.
