Le3/Le2 H/C track times, Do I have a problem??

gotcha, it seems like the PCM should be close as long as the 02's, maf, TPS, etc are in good working order. I am not sure why it was rich on a tune that is designed for 30 lbers and you had 24 lbers installed. Hmmm.

Ok I feel real stupid, I just talked to Ion and he pulled my old order slip and I had him tune for a 58mm TB but for some reason I picked stock injectors!!?? damn do I feel stupid. so Im sending it back to him tomorrow and having him fix the injectors ill keep you posted.

I entered the info into that calculator, is the altimeter setting the barimetic pressure divided by 1.01? if so I used 28.96
Desity Alitude --- 4229ft
Absolute Press -- 28.33in
Relitive Density is 88.2%
now whos gonna tell me what those number mean??
Also whats the best 60' anyone has gotten WITh street tires?

Uhmm, you need to stop driving it. Your gonna just blow that ****ing thing up.
Your on the stock fuel pump. Stock 24 Lbs/Hrs injectors, and are tuned for 30 Lbs/Hrs ... That thing is probably leaning out so bad ... You dont want that 20 minute job to be the 20minute thing you didnt do that blew up your engine. And do that 5 hour job and switch fuel pupmps while your at it.

Ok well Im bringing this back from the dead since I made the corrections everyone recommended and I gained a whole 2 tenths of a second!!!??? so heres a run down of whats going on. Everyone said the stock throttle body was hurting me so I switched out to a 58mm and ported my intake to match the new 58mm. everyone said I needed to upgrade my stock injectors so I did, installed 30#ers. I also sent the PCM back to ION for a retune to add the Injectors and the thottle body. Also the result a posted at the beginning of this thread were on a day when the weather was disgusting. today the weather was killer, the temp was down, humidity non existant. so heres my results from the best run I had.
R/T .414
60' 2.185
330 5.620
1/8 8.404
mph 89.23
1000 10.790
1/4 12.808
mph 111.79
Now I know the time isnt going to be great with a crappy 60' time but my MPH is really low! And someone on here said I needed to drive the car like I hated it well if power shifting it from 2-3 and 3-4 never lifting my foot from the floor isnt hating it I dont know what is. WHERE THE HELL IS MY MPH!!! im kinda frustrated, the only thing left is to get it on a dyno and tune it the right way but from ALL of the posts ive read/seen Ion's and PCM forless tunes are really really good and most ppl only gain 10-20hp is that really enough to get me into 115mph territory? we're talking 5-6+ mph. thanks for the help. I know I may have sounded like I didnt think the opinions about the throttle body and injectors were good or neccisary upgrades but I was expecting to see a bigger gain than what I ended up with. I mean if I ran the setup I ran when I got the times at the begining of this thread I could have easily hit these new times just with the cooler denser air. Thoughts?

Get it dyno tuned and go from there. I gainned 50rwhp 20rwtq over the mailorder tune. Also need a lot of work in the 60' department. You'll be happy once all the bugs are worked out trust me.

Re: Le3/Le2 H/C track times, Do I have a problem??
Ive driven this car and stick cars all my life (I'm 25) like I said I litterally reved the hell out of it power shifting right before the rev limiter. I dont think it is the driver since my times are all very very consistent. I need to find someone that can tune it thats close to Nashville TN, anyone know of a place? one of the guys at the track was running a 96 LT1 with ported heads and an 847 and he was running pretty much the exact same times as me. he had his tuned at Dynolab in GA, that 5 hours from Nashville so I guess if I have to go there I will but there has to be someone that is closer!?
Heres the vid from my fastest run, sorry about the quality the camera was set on the "close up" setting.
