I have not read the prior posts in this thread, but you may want to check out
Jeff Creech at Carolina Auto Masters for a dyno tune. I have seen him do some
amazing things, plus he may just find a gremlin or two along the way. I apologize
if this is a repeat of something already said.

Ive heard of him I think, but he is to far from me. I found someone local that seems to know alot about F-bodys and from what I hear is a pretty good tuner.

Yeah, Its nice to be an A4 sometimes, BUT with a beefy rear back there you'll be doing that and more soon...Hope the dyno tune helps you out! I'm looking into QA1s and a Wolfe Drag bar to really get those 60' down...There could be 10s somewhere in the suspension and true duals...we'll see...

See there in lies my problem, I cant have a excelent drag car and a road race pro touring car. Right now Im set up as a pro touring car so everything that is required to go fast in a straight line I have to look at and ask myslef if its going to help me bang a turn faster. so right now the 12 bolt is going in but the rear suspension will be staying in the stock configuration, with coil overs and BFG KD's.

He did you make it out to the 2006 power tour? I had "issues" with mine and missed the whole trip, was really pisses, but 2007 is looking good and the car should have ALL the bugs worked out.

Check your plug wires... Your times sound like you are running on 7 cylinders, if not 6... I was pulling 13.6's on street tires with only 6 cylinders running. After I fixed the spark plug issue i gained almost a full 2 seconds... Dont go by plug's either... I dont know exaclty what Lloyds specs are on his LE2/LE3 cams, but with my GM847 my plugs are always black due to the cam overlap. My best mph is 116. So I think you have a lot more left in it for sure.

I had every intention on going, but life got in the way...Too many family commitments and kid issues....I heard it was a good time, though...I may try for 2007 also...

Re: Le3/Le2 H/C track times, Do I have a problem??

plug woires are VERY critical also. I had some MSD 8.5 mm wires that were jammed into the stock looms by the PS and AC pulleys and that was the problem. I bought some 7 MM Omnispark wires from Oreilleys and the car was completely different. I was amazed but had changed about everything else (cap, rotoe, opti, plugs, etc) and was still down on power.

If you have larger than 7 mm wires, make sure they were not crammed into these looms and damaged the wires.

I still have the 7 MM wires on there now, LOL.

Make sure you:
1. Get ALL the bugs worked out before you attempt to dyno tune it.
2. Get logs of the runs on the dyno.

if you have larger MM wires, make sure and DO NOT run them through the factory looms.
