haha Ya I know I was a *****, It was my first time out with the 9" and slicks and didnt really know what I was doing, I drove it like the 10-bolt and now I know I need to work on that. But I really need to figure out were my MPH is going. thats my priority right now. the car feels strong up top and revs out no problem, doesnt stutter and the plugs look perfect. Oh ya and since the last dyno I replaced the Opti with a Dynatech sicne the graph was all jumpy.
I should be able to get the wideband installed this week and maybe by friday or Sat get some data logged runs in. Ill post the vids/ and data logs, see if we cant track this power down.

Yeah, keep working on it. Once you start with the mods it takes a while to get everything sorted out. Still working on mine, and with driving it only 500 miles a year and very few track passes, it takes time.

Long time lurker here from the corvetteforum. The only thing I may add is if you have checked to see if the cam is off a tooth. Others have had similar findings as yours and this was the problem. Good luck with it.

I remember them saying the car "seemed" to run great, but the dyno or track #s were less than they should be. PIA to check, but you seem to have eliminated most other things without blindly throwing money at it. See what the others here think, I'm here to learn mostly. I want a LE2/1.5 type setup in the not too distant future. Seems to be better info around here than some of the other sites.

Just weighed the car, Would 3600lbs w/o me have anything to do with my MPH? with me in it that puts the car at 3820lbs.

I think the scale is out of whack. No way a 3rd gen weighs that heavy.

Well I know mine is very very fat but there was 4 other guys that weighed in and they all were close to numbers that they weighed on other scales. there was a couple ls1's that weighed in around 3500.

That could very well be part of the issue, My 89 formula 305/T5 weighed 3360 with 1/4 tank of gas.

I don't think that the weight is really the issue. My first head and cam set up was Le heads and a hotcam and that trapped 112 consistently with a high of 114. My car is a fulll weight Iroc With heavy rims.
Hope this helps.

Ill have to try another set of scales. but lets for instance say that it is accurate. how much does weight affect mph? I know you can gain .1 for ever 100lbs but what the formula for mph?
