Leaking Water pump at gasket.
Yesterday while driving home from work, (94 Z/28 all stock A4 180,XXX miles DD) I got the low water light on the dash. Checked the car when I got home & I found the leak between the pump & the block at the gasket. I put the new pump on about 5 years ago (~ 50,XXX miles) it was new, the surfaces were clean & I used Permatex #2 on gasket & bolt threads, & torqued the bolts to spec. Anyone ever seen this before? When I change the gaskets out, is there a better gasket sealer to use than Permatex #2?
