Angry lifter tick/low rpm stumble

I am currently having issues with what I think is a ticking lifter, I plan on breaking it down and replacing all 16 but in the mean time i was wondering if anyone could suggest an oil additive that might help quiet the tick. Also I am experiencing a low rpm stumble any suggestions

Re: lifter tick/low rpm stumble

Are you sure it's not a header gasket leaking/ticking? An exhaust leak before the O2 sensor will cause the engine to run rich.

Re: lifter tick/low rpm stumble

I have checked the headers i have no leaks im almost positive its a lifter had several certified technician say the same. How ever I do not have the o2 sensors hooked up I guess that could run it rich

Which O2 sensors are disconnected? Pre-cat, after-cat, or all? In the other thread you asked about using simms or tuning them out, which would apply to the after-cat sensors.

Re: lifter tick/low rpm stumble

I have ordered some 02 sensors sims and i went to hook up the front O2 sensors in the mean time and realized the fronts are 4 pin flat so gotta pick another pair of sensors i guess? I'm having trouble locating the drivers side rear sensor plug any suggestions?
