Lifters for Comp 977 springs?

I'm trying to select a lifter for comp 977 springs. (NOT 987, we're talking about the beefier 977).

A year ago I would have opted for Comp R's, but it sounds like their manufacturing quality is going to hell in a handbasket. Anyone have a recommendation?

Thanks!

We have been using the Morel lifters more and more with our builds.

I am still running stockers because I don't want to spend my $(cam+springs+rockers) in lifters alone.

But Morel is the way to go if you can afford it.
