Re: which lifters to use?

My old 94 had the "common" valve train noise I read about here on this site and when I went to a comp cams roller shaft and matching springs, the noise worsened. I narrowed it down to the stock original lifters not being up to the task of the stiffer springs and caused them to bleed down more than before. Considering the amount of b.s. involved, I would just put in the new ones and avoid a possible headache.

Lloyd should have spec'd out your lifters for you. If not call him but with my LE2 383 I had to use comp r's so I am thinking you'll have to also. If so, just watch the valve adjustment. .002-.004 lash. Not your typical 3/4 to full turn once zero lash is felt.
