My botom end is all LPE and has been together untouched since 1995...My heads were originally done by LPE and re-ported by Eric Bradby in '05, but still retain the same stinkin' dual springs/retainers that LPE originally installed...Eric said they were still like new!

All this talk makes me wanna spray mine with a 200 shot...mmmmmm....Nice numbers!!!!

Hey Alan how are things going? How many miles do you have on the LPE bottom end.. IMO spray the hell out of it Joe's cam in my car with LPE's heads love the nitrous the only problem is the bottom end hates all that power. What kind of #s do you make N/A?

Everything's good here...I forget whos been following what mods I've done since last year...but I added custom 3" true duals with an X..A track rental in 80 degree weather yielded a wee bit higher mph 119.89 over 119.75 in the 50 degree weather with the Kooks Y and the Borla...so thats encouraging...I also got 4.10s and a spool waiting to go in as the Strange HD Eaton is starting to do whatever it feel like...and the 4.10s should pick me up a bit and help with 28" tires if I decide to go that route over the 26s...

My car never dynos well...400rwhp on a Dyno jet and 375 on a Mustang...My cam is kinda weenie by most standards...226/234 and its on a 111, but it would be okay for the spray, but I think I'll stay N/A...There's 11 teens in this thing somewhere...My suspension guy seems to think we can get 1.40s out of my car if I'd pry my wallet out of my pocket and get some QA1s/AFCOs, etc...Oh, and I've got 48,500 miles and 12 years on the LPE 383 bottom end which consists of a Callies crank, Oliver 5.85" billet steel rods and JE pistons...Its been bullet proof...

That is great 48,500 miles and 12 years . LPE builds some nice stuff. Good luck on hitting your goal of low 11's .. I am going to take mine to the track as soon as the temp. drops some.. I hope the bottom end stays together for a full pass on the spray..

How much did you gain by going w/ the Joe O cam over the LPE cam you had? I just ordered the 219/219 560/560 cam for my 383 so hopefully it works well for me. I will also be spraying a 200 shot on it.

I had the 211/219 in my 383 and it went 11.90s at 113-115 with that set up and one 11.76 which I could never back up...I was going to order the 219/219 when I met Joe and went with suggestion and Eric to freshen my heads...

Anyway, In an apples to apples comparison I picked up just about 5 mph in the 1/4...I can't really give an accurate ET reduction because the car had different wheel/tire/suspension combo...I think you'll be happy with that cam...I really think these cars (LT1s) respond better with less duration a bigger lifts like the 219/219...

I don't think I'm going to get 50,000 miles on this motor and the springs just about need changed yearly. Maybe I need a better engine builder

Thats an impressive number on the stock bottom end.

Lets hear the times and rwhp. My 116 trap speed was on motor only. The car ran 127+mph on the spray through the traps with 3.73 gears. Wonder what 4.30 gears would do for my setup If you can't post your times or power than stop posting in my threads.
