as mentioned . . . check pin length and make sure the pin is NOT bottoming out in the pin slot of the opti.
Make sure the bolts that hold the opti to the timing cover are not bottoming out and allowing oil to come in from the seal.
Get a MSD cap and rotor since the MSD rotor is MUCH better and will not fly apart like other ones. this can cause problems when shifting 6300 and higher.
Make sure the vent tubes are hooked up like mentioned also.
Check these things and good luck

thanks for all replies!i appreciate that i will tell my mechanic to check de dowel pin again and maybe if it was only the rotor exploded to buy the msd cap and rotor .do you think is that the summit opti is a junk for moded cars?

Everyone remember that it is up to you to make sure the dowel pin is the correct length. It has nothing to do with any manufacturer "getting it right". They all warn that the dowel pin length must be checked to fit your application.
