Re: LME head porting work on my AFR-210s

My 210cc AFRs flowed 282cfm @.600 (out of the box). They published 288cfm @.600 on their website.

Re: LME head porting work on my AFR-210s

first off, props to the numbers those heads now flow

next, i think you're mistaken on the type of head you bought....the competition are the better flowing head vs/ the race ready. @ .700 lift the competition flow 297 according to AFR site where as the race ready on flow 272...a drop from .650 (275).

all of this is now arbitrary concidering the port work done...because those flow numbers are awesome

Re: LME head porting work on my AFR-210s

one question on the short block....what brand piston are those...and what are the specs on your cam...i noticed you said solid roller setup, and that's where my 383 is headed. i was curious as to how far you had to fly cut the pistons to clear the valves.

Majorly bling! Is this an NA street/raceonly setup? What are your power goals?

Looks good so far. The valve springs look like jewelry .

The pistons were JE/Wiseco "one/offs" for this build, cam is a custom grind for this build, pretty crazy duration, 110cl and around .691 lift, not sure what they cut the pistons to.

Thanks man, I'm the local n/a guy, everyone around Houston is turbo, SC or nitrous, I'm really into getting all I can out of an LT1 prior adding nitrous with the 12:5:1 comp. I'm hoping for 500 rwhp with this setup and higher when I do the SuperVic and bigger heads, will find out sometime this week how she does, hopefully tomorrow.

Had them go through my LT4 intake and clean it up make it look like the heads, I had ported it myself prior, but they raised the runners just a little to match the heads better and cleaned it up further inside as well as the TB opening and injector ports.

The port work looks really good. Your car should run like like a bat out of hell.
