That's more what I would expect...his previous best was a 12.685 @ 108.81...

I know he ran the times that he did (many people witnessed the runs that night), I just can't figure out what he did to run them with only bolt-ons. Super duper special tuning, maybe? I can't see how that would pick it up 0.6 seconds and 10 MPH though.

o, i belive the times he ran, just not full weight and bolt-on only. that's an almost perfect drop in ET and mph for a good shot of the juice.

I don't doubt he ran the numbers. It's easy to do in these cars but he must have some kind of power adder. Tell him to just fess up already.

You can run 10 percent in the tank with some high octane (93 plus at least) and it will act like a small shot of nitrous oxcide.

I have seen some people run 20 percent, but colder plugs ,timing off a few,and some tuning are a must!!

Question

118 mph with JUST bolt ons... I just can't see it. If the the car were INSANELY light, like 2,500 race weight I could see it... but the ET would be WAY lower. At full weight 118 is NOT a bolt on only trap speed. Better check the tracks timeing equipment... hell I had a time slip with 236 mph trap speed once... STOCK!!! Timing equipment DOES screw up and the most common error I've seen is trap speed.
Steve...

When I bought my m6 94 Z it had every bolt on known to man on it, full weight, and some VERY light head work, almost not enough to even bother, but it did have 2.00/1.56 valves, made 329 RWHP, and in some DAMN good 40* air at sea level only managed 110 mph, so I am gonna call this BULLSHIZNIT, aint happenin. It takes 400 RWHP for a full weight F body to trap 118 MPH. And on the et, NOT, sorry aint no bolt on full weight 6 speed LT1 car gonna go some low 12's, sorry. My buddy had a bolt on 93 automatic car that went some 12.50's, that was the fastest full weight LT1 bolt on car I had heard of, it only trapped 107 MPH.

But nitrous and superchargers are also considered "bolt-ons."
