Longtubes........

Yeah what a pain... Well its been going good so its not as bad as say.. the first time I did sparkplugs and wires. I got to the shop this morning and got a lift... Next to me was a 04-05 GTO, The guy was installing on some Kooks LT with true duals into some mufflers. Ended up not sounding good I wasnt impressed. Anyways onto my story. I started on the exhaust everything was welded so I have to cut right before the rear axle, Ill have to get a pipe together later on, Right now ill be running open headers. I PBed every bolt the other night and again this morning waiting for the engine to cool down. Didnt have to much of a problem Only bolts that broke were the ones comming off the manifolds on the ypipe section 5 broke 1 came loose. I have both manifolds off, Wire and spark plugs out, Air and EGR gone. Tomorrow I have to finish taking the piping from the AIR off and then put everything back together.

At least you have a lift, that should ease things up a little bit.

Best of luck. Took me a couple of hours to install my Kooks with
their dual-cats/y and all the emissions stuff. And contrary to your
"opponent" in the next stall, mine sound pretty bad-@ss. Of course,
it does matter what all is connected behind the y-pipe

Good luck!

I finished up everything today.. Did not get a change to do the OTVC because it was closing time in the shop so I threw on my old MSD wires and zip tied away. I do have a problem with the O2 sensors, I have O2 sims with square end hooked up... The O2s that I have on the headers are long "oval" shaped and the wires dont reach to them, The extention I have are also square shaped.. Ive been working on the car all day and my mind is going blank. Can someone let me in on some info of whats wrong.

Yep, flat connector for the front sensors, square connector for the rear sensors.
