Lookin for some advice from the pro's...
Heya all,
First off, this site is really amazing. I think its great to see so many F-Body/Camaro enthusiasts in one spot. This site has so far been a great resource for me.
Well, after considering restoring a 68 charger RT, which wont work out due to the amount of work and my small pockets, I was referred by a friend to look into 4th gen Camaros. I immediately fell in love with the z28, being its the closest thing to american muscle that I can afford.
So I'm looking at buying a '95 z28 in the not so distant future, and I wanted some advice as to what kinds of things I should look into purchasing to get some real performance out of it. As said before, my resources are not infinite, so I guess anything easy to do and easy on my wallet would be preferable. If it helps at all, its a manual six speed, has a little over 80,000 miles, the engine is original and NOT rebuilt, and the owner has made NO modifications to the car.
Once again, whether or not u can help me, your site rocks. Hoping to get some more info!

this will probably get moved to lt1 tech (lt1's and ls1's are in the 4th gen camaros- course 93-97 lt1 and 98-02 ls1)
i'm sure you'll get more help there anyways
but here's a start
intake, exhaust, gears, cam, heads (port the stock ones or get new ones)
that'll keep ya busy for awhile, haha
yea, with all that though you could have a really nice 12 second or something street car
welcome to the board also

Yeah just search, you will have pages and pages of reading to do. My advice would be to have a real good hold on what you think works and what will work for you. It will save you a bunch of money down the road.
