At first glance it looks fine. Good price I guess. What are your mods?, because a throttle body that is too big for your current mods will infact hurt performance, just something to think about. Overall if you need a throttlebody I would try it

Your stock TB will be fine with the mods you have. You really don't need a aftermarket one until you're in the 400HP area. Then you might benifit from a 52mm TB. I still have a stock TB and I have pretty much every bolt-on and heads/cam.

Very much agree, save your two hundred bucks for something else.

I'd spend the money somewhere else. I'm not sure if a bigger TB really helps until you get some major horsepower. I'm not exactly sure my 58mm tb was worth the money.

Re: looking to get a throttle body

I have seen dyno tests of some hp gains with 52 and 58 tbs even on mildly modded up cars. So it appears that they can help a bit .Sometimes theory and practice are two different things.
The car is already set up for a 52 but you need to bore out intake for a 58 or buy an adapter, seen those on eb. I just got a 52 but might go for a 58 when finish heads/cam/ and headers. Have zex wet kit also.

Any actual numbers? I couldn't imagine it putting down enough real HP gains to justify getting a larger throttle body. Yeah, sure it may put down 5 extra hp, but 5 hp for about 200 dollars isn't a very good investment, at least in this stage of the modding game. You could spend it on something else more benficial (SP?).

I wouldn't waste my time on the adapter it will still choke you down to 52mm.
