Looking for a good 350 build up
Hi, I've been reading the threads for awhile and just got into heavy modifications for my 94 Z28.
I'm building up my stock 350 and wondering if anyone has any info on proven solid roller setups. The car is not my daily driver, so I'm looking for the biggest and baddest out there. I've done searches and hard to find what I'm looking for. My planned setup is to run a big solid roller cam with my stock bottom end and AFR 227cc ported heads. Does anyone have any information on what proven solid roller combos that would get the most out of my 350?

Confused by conflicting statements:
"I'm looking for the biggest and baddest out there."
"big solid roller cam with my stock bottom end and AFR 227cc ported heads."
I have a fairly "mild" solid roller that only makes 500HP N/A, but handles a 300-shot of nitrous..... not sure if that meets you definition of "biggest and baddest"..... but there is no way you can be the "biggest and the baddest" on "stock bottom end". Does not compute??????
Solid rollers make big RPM. Stock bottom ends don't.

I figured the bottom end would be a set back. I was looking for "biggest and the baddest" as I can on the stock 350 bottom end. I've heard of people making impressive numbers with solid rollers on 350s but I can't find any of their grind specs. I wasn't planning on revving to the moon but I want to make as much power as possible out of it. I just haven't heard of any proven numbers yet, so I don't know what would be too big or too small for the 350. A cam grind that I have in mind is .608/.614 242/248 112 or 113, I've seen guys talk about HR with similar lift but with a lil less duration making decent power, but as I said I'm not sure how far i can go with the solid roller. . . new world to me. . .

Trying to get the most out of my 350, wondering if anyone had any good info or proven specs for the SR. I'll have a stroker motor sometime late next year, so I'll already have the valvetrain stuff covered. Of course I'll prolly change cams but everything else should be there.
