Ok thanks. The car will run, but only for a few minutes. Starts up with no hesitation, just dies a few minutes later. Don't know what I'm missing here. So far I changed the pump and regulator, checked the injectors and all of the lines for leaks. I guess I have no other choice but to take the tank down again.

You should watch your fuel pressure to make sure before you go and drop the tank again.

I'll do some more looking. Maybe get some fuel line shut off adapters. Just can't figure this one out but I guess I'll keep looking.

Haven't figured this one out yet, but I did figure out that the pump AZ gave me was defective. The fuel feed hose on the pump was leaking right where the little clamp goes. I tried to tighten it but it kept on leaking. Now as a test, I put the old pump back on and instead on losing pressure in 20 seconds, it takes about 20 minutes before it reaches 30psi. Progress but the car still shuts off.

I recently discovered that when I pull on the fuel return line fitting at the fuel rail the pressure fluctuates and you can see little traces of fuel coming out. Now my question is are there o-rings for those fuel line fittings?

20 minutes to reach 30psi? Now it sounds like the hose is kinked. I think you had your hands on the problem when you realized it was leaking.

I can't remember if the o-rings are rubber or plastic, check Shoebox's site. I'm sure he must have something on there.

When I said reach 30psi I meant as the pressure drops it take 20 minutes to go from 43 to 30, and then it keeps dropping. Sorry about the confusion. I just bought the fuel line o-rings so I'll know tomarrow if this whole never ending ordeal was over a set of 3 dollar o-rings.

Let's see if I have this right.
The vehicle shuts down while it's running. The pressure holds steady while it's running. After the vehicle shuts down, the pressure starts to drop. If you pull on one of the lines, it leaks. Do I have this correct?

So how is any of this causing the engine to shut down? Sure you may have a small leak. But your pressure is good until it shuts down. Yeah the pressure leaks down fast after it shuts off. Yeah the check valve in the new pump was bad. None of this is causing the engine to shut down if the pressure is good until it shuts down. Period.

Unless you haven't given us all the information. Your problem is elsewhere.
