loss of fuel pressure at high rpm

I have a miss at high rpm, 4000 and up. I thought it was the opti, but i hooked a fuel pressure gauge up last night and drove it, and I found that my fuel pressure was dropping to 35-38 at WOT, and sometimes would drop to zero for split seconds at a time. Any ideas?

It sound like your problem maybe a bad fuel pump. Whenever there is a drop in fp like that it is most likely due to a bad fuel pump.

I agree

The most noticeable sign of a bad fuel pump is inefficient flow at RPMs, and WOT. I would highly suggest u replace it ASAP before it goes out completely on u.

If you do not plan on doing any internal upgrades to your car then you can get away with going with a Walbro 195 lph. If you plan on doing heads and cam then I would recommend going with a 255 lph intank pump. You may want to try and contact Jack at Racetronix.

Its the pump.

Get a Walbro 255 from Racetronix.

I'm selling my Walbro 255 in 2 months as well. I need something bigger.
