Low oil pressure when idling

Well, would the noise be instantaneous upon the initial reading of 0psi?
If not, how long would it be before it started tapping?
And seeing how this change was all of a sudden, is it more likely that it is the sending unit, pump, or an actual bearing?

Mine would do the exact same thing after I changed to 5w30 when previously i had w40 in it. Then the oil pressure really started to drop after adding a can of "engine restorer"(wich is crap by the way),I changed back to castrol 10w40 and now everything is peachy.
