LPE 211/219 or 214/224?

211/219, .530/.560, 112 LSA

Looking for suggestions on the best compromise of a spring that will support this much lift for such rapid valve events (relatively speaking).

This cam will be going with stock heads, no porting, 1.6 rockers (feel free to make suggestions on rocker arms) and upgraded retainers. The rest of the valve train will be stock.

I am also considering a 214/224, .565/.605, 114 LSA cam I have heard a little bit about that sounds pretty badass. I have the same questions regarding springs and rocker arms as above. I have a feeling this cam requires more expensive supporting valvetrain components than I can afford.

It appears alot of people here are comp rr haters, so I recommend some crane golds 1.6s.

If it was me i would go ahead and steup up to the 219/219, but thats just personal preference. As far as valvetrain goes, put 26918's springs on it from comp with 10* retainers and some +.050 locks to get the propper installed height. The +.050 locks will require that you use nsa rockers, and i recommend gm guide plates to handle that. For rockers use comp cams pro mags or thier high tech stainless steel ones (get new studs and run the 7/16" rockers). For pushrods look for something in chromoly steel, with a pretty thick wall for this i recommend comp's high tech pushrods, or trickflow there are several others that are fine thats just the ones i use personally.

Why is the 219/219 your preference? What is the advantage of the 26918s?

Where did you hear that? I'd take Pro Mags over those aluminum ones any day and to my knowledge so would most LT1 guys I know.
