LPE heads and Joe Overton cam track times inside...

I went to the track friday night to see how the car would do... The temp was 65* , bara was 30.00, and the humidity was 49%... The car weighed 3858 with out me in it and i weigh 215 pounds with 275/40/17s all the way aroumd with closed borla the car went 1.874 - 60 foot , 7.924@88.56 in the 1/8th and 12.330@112.15 in the 1/4 The car ran strong as hell.. This was N/a no power adder yet... I launched the car at idle and still spun through the 60-foot mark with nittos.. I guess its time for slicks and skinnies and get rid of the stock torque arm and buy a spohn .....Thanks Joe Overton for the cam and all the help... I still need to get the car on a dyno and tune it this is with a mail order tune...Then i will open the bottle

Nice times, we're waiting for Addis to get his car done. He's building his 381 w a Joe O. Cam and LE Heads.

What size valves do you got in your LPE heads?

I payed $2300 for the heads but they were the stage 3 port where after the machine porting was done LPE went back through the heads and hand ported some more.... Heads came assembled...

Because it has no weight reduction at all plus subframes, strut tower brace, lower control arms big sub box , nitrous bottle and all the other things that were put on the car, 17s ZR1 rims and tires on all four corners and carpeted wood plate to cover the nitrous bottle and have a place to set the sub box on....

I have had some good 60's on my Nittos but they were at Bristol and the track prep was really good. I got a 1.69 and I think that is good for the nitto's.

When racing at my usual track though they are normally very bad 1.9's and sometimes 2.0's.

First, congrats on the nice times. But I have to ask why are
you putting so much power into a convertible? Do you have
a roll cage? What is your long range plan?

Nice times.

You need slicks.

Did you get any kind of flow numbers on those heads?

I just got a solid roller cam from Joe and had his friend Eric port my LT4 heads and intake. The LT4 heads had a Lingenfelter CNC job allready done to them and they only flowed ok. Eric wasn't to impressed with them and they look a lot different now.

I can't wait to get the 383 in the car. Looks like Joe has done several cams lately there should be some nice numbers coming out soon.

To be diffrent.. Nobody looks at a convertible and thinks man i bet that car is fast unless they see baxters car...... I like to make people ask why.....My goal with the car is to run high10s and still retain all factory options and still be streetable all on stock bottom end...
