LS2 Coils with LTCC

Do these work with the Bob Bailey LTCC module without modification? If they do any advantage, supposedly they are a more efficient version of the LS1 coil.

You better call Bob to check, I know he sells 2 different versions of his wire harness, one for F-body and corvette coils and a different one if you are using the truck ls1 coils.

Re: LS2 Coils with LTCC

I talked with Bob a couple months ago after seeing the exact coils you are speaking of on ebay. He told me to stick with the LS-1 coils at that time. Email him at turbobob@bailey-eng.com and see if this has changed. If so, leave me an update. I am curious. Thanks!

Same exact reason I'm asking. I've already emailed him, but of course I have money right now and It's burning a hole in my mod pocket.

Re: LS2 Coils with LTCC

FYI. Bob emailed me and said that he can sell me an LTCC with the correct connector for LS2 Coil Packs. He has a customer running the LS2 coils with no problems, but still recommended using LS1 coils, so this is what I'm doing. I ordered a set of used LS1 coils for 220 shipped from valvegod@aol.com, whose email I got from another board member.

I really like the MBA brackets, anybody know how much they want for these puppies. A little scary when they don't post the price on their website.

$280.

I called for a price quote, they told me, I laughed my *** off and got off the phone, sold the ltcc and coils, and bought a delteq.

LTCC would be so much better if there were affordable brackets for it to keep the total cost of the solution down.

Re: LS2 Coils with LTCC

i have the mba brackets and fuel rail covers polished sure it's pricey but it doesn't look all hacked together like some of the coil pack installs i've seen.

I really like the MBA brackets as well and will probably give them my business. I really think they are really over priced however, as is most of their merchandise. They do look great though.

Man, used coils have went up from a year or 2 ago, I got 2 sets of LS1 coils for $100+shipping....that price from VG sounds like new (comparing to when I contacted him about new ones a while back).

And you can make your own brackets if you dont like the price of the MBA stuff.
