LT-1 Valve covers with roller rockers?

I would like to buy a set of nice, reasonably priced, aluminum valve covers for an lt-1 with CC Magnum roller rockers. Who makes a set with clearance for the rockers?

pro mags are the only ones that dont fit. simply cut them.

scroll down to the bottom of the page, to see what it looks like.

I was thinking that aftermarket aluminum valve covers wouldnt have the supports inside, so i wouldnt have to cut anything?

i think that most should be fine, but if you want to save money and use the stockers, then thats how you do it. but I am pretty sure all aftermarkets should be fine. run a search, there are a lot of nice options out there. I just like the stockers because I know they will fit perfectly on the heads, and its cheap

Some covers still have some type of support. The proforms do not yet the are very rigid. Just be sure to torque them down as they say. And use the GM or blue FelPro rubber gaskets. Invest in a in/lb torque wrench.
The only thing you might have to do is squeeze the PVC/oil baffle w/ a pair of channel locks so they won`t touch the rockers. That and the alternator grinding, but this isn`t hard. It`s worth it w/ the Proforms.

Just bend the long side of the supports flat and the rockers will fit fine, I did it with some vice grips.

i just put comp 1.6 pro mags on with poly locks...

the rr's hit the webbing ... so i took snips and cut the webbing off of the side or the inside, however you want to look at it...
and we caved in the area on the passenger side cover...(i think its under the PCV valve...

i would save your money and use the stock covers...
the height fit fine...

I have these valvecovers on my car.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ALUMI...spagenameZWDVW

They still have the braces in them, so i notched them with my Plasma cutter. They're a great value you and virtually eliminated all my valve cover oil leaks. The price is hard to beat as well.

But the stock ones have clearance issues, and are ugly, if i am going to dump $3500.00 into this motor, New valve covers are in order. I only wantb to do this once, and do it right.

I feel the same way as you do. So, I just bought the Canton's off of Victory Racing on Friday morning. Great people to do deal with.

If there are no other Suggestions, Canton looks like the way to go?
