LT Headers, Hooker Y-pipe, and SLP LM PLEASE enter!

Had a question before i go installing this setup I ordered next weekend: Jet Hot LT's, Hooker Y-pipe, and SLP Loudmouth. If you have done this please chime in, I want to know what you did for the Y-pipe to exhaust connection. Did you have to cut? bend? modify? Someone brought upto me that the Hooker Y-pipe has an enlarged 2" tip where it connects to the exhaust to "compensate" for a 3" exhaust. BUT the SLP loudmouth has the end that is alittle smaller then 3" (2 7/8?) and has like 4 fins that look to be bendable. So how is the 2 7/8 SLP loudmouth end going to go to the 3 1/8" Hooker Y pipe? Please let me know what you did, I am trying to think of what has to be done. Did your Hooker Y meet perfectly with the loudmouth or did you cut?

Just a tid bit needed to be cut off on the I-pipe for it to hook up. The second part I just got confused with all the number's and I'm tired. BTW, I have the exact setup you're getting.

ibanez6rg check your email, lol. I sent you an email a few hours ago haha. Also "simpile" has alittle diffrent setup, this Y-pipe is diffrent i belive, he has flanges and stuff I think. I was talking to him before. ibanez6rg what i meant by all the numbers was the Hooker Y-pipe:http://www.classicgaming.com/vcoleco...hothookery.jpg Has an enlaged tip where the I pipe of the exhaust connected to, it looks to be larger then 3" The SLP loudmouth has that smaller then 3" 2" peice of metal t the end of it that is bendable cus it has slits cut into it. Did you cut that off for your kit? Got pics? Anyone else?

Everything fits right up, the I-pipe just needed cut a little if I remember right. When I bought the 94-95 LM kit, The pipe was left over. Just used the hangers that came with, which makes me wonder why I bought that damn thing. 3" all the way to the axle. 2 1/2, then 3 1/2 tips (single/slash tips). Hope this helps. Just ask if you have anymore questions.
